Ashanti Shequoiya-Douglas, also called Ashanti, was born on October 13, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a musician, singer and actor from her native United States. Ashanti was first discovered when she was an teen and signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. At the time she made an appearance in fat Joe's What's Luv? Two Fat Joe's What's luv? Her tracks Foolish (number number one) and What's Luv!
